Main Screen
Use the main screen when tapping another device in order to establish a connection. Tap to share is only available from the main screen and when the device is on.
If NFC is not enabled you can use the Transfer function to manually connect two devices.
When two Anymime devices connect, they will immediately start a two-way file transfer.
You receive what the other side is sending.
And your device will send the files you have selected up front.
If you did not select any files to send, your device will only receive files.
Use the Send files function (see above) to create a list of files you want to send.
Select files for delivery
All content choosers available on your device are now at your disposal. You can add files from the Gallery, from the Music archive or directly from SD-card.
You can also record a voice message and add it to the delivery list. Content choosers (mime type intents) can be installed like applications.
You can select as many files as you want to be sent in one go.
And you can create several such lists for different use cases.
Next step is to connect the two devices.
This popup appears the first time two devices establish a connection.
Users must compare the automatically generated 6-digit passkey and
only continue (pair) if the passkey is the same on both devices.
If you see identical passkeys, you have a direct genuine encrypted
wireless connection between the two devices.
Anymime-to-Anymime file transfer just works.
It is highly optimized and will always achieve the best possible transfer rate.
When file transfer is finished, the list of received files will pop up.
Opening any file will execute it's compatible media player.
The Received files function provides a history of received files, sorted by date.
Downloaded files are kept on SD card in the /download folder. A separate sub-folder will be created for each new session.
